Credit Education School, an initiative of Purpose Under Fire, Inc., a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit, creates opportunities for girls—from elementary school through college and beyond——gain economic mobility through financial literacy education.
Elementary, Middle,
& High School Girls
Credit and personal finance aren’t tested in schools, so they usually aren’t taught.
Even at home, girls receive 20% less pocket money than boys, and some parents often teach their daughters less about money than their sons.
College Girls
Women hold two-thirds of all U.S. student loan debt, and nearly 65% of college students carry credit card debt. This debt can delay financial freedom — whether it's buying a home, landing a job, or paying off loans.
Women
Until 1974, women couldn’t even get a credit card without a man’s permission.
Even today, we invest 29% less than men — a gap that needs to close.
Why Credit Matters: More Than Just a Score
Let’s Rewrite Our Credit Story Together.
I’m on a mission to fix one thing we were never taught in school: Credit.
Credit Education: I teach girls from elementary through high school the essentials of credit and personal finance, filling the gap that traditional schools leave behind.
Credit Building: For college girls, I focus on ‘building credit for beginners.’ Get strategies you can start applying now to support your big dreams, plans, and goals.
Credit Management: I help women manage their credit or overcome credit challenges with specialized guidance on credit repair, the impact of credit in marriage, and navigating credit through divorce.
